Ned Warner grew up in New York City, which might help to explain why he moved to Colorado with stars in his eyes, instead of doing things the other way around.  He draws musical inspiration from the great troubadours of the last century (Neil Young, Bob Dylan and the rest) but also from his temporal surroundings.  His songs are full of gravel roads and starry skies, and, like the work of most songwriters, women as well.

Warner has been playing guitar and writing songs since his early teens, and his work still shows a refreshing amount of experimentation and exuberance.  Warner's style has cemented into something close to identifiable; one part traditional americana, one part indie folk, a dash bitters, and all good.
